The full text of "The Uffizi Diptych by Piero della Francesca: Its Form, Iconography, and Purpose" (M. A. thesis, Hunter College, C.U.N.Y., 1970), not previously published, is reproduced from the original typescript as a .pdf document. The paintings dealt with are the double portrait [click on first set of thumbnails] of Federico da Montefeltro and his wife, Battista Sforza, and the allegorical triumphs of the two on the reverse of their portraits [click on second set of thumbnails].
